Born to yap.

That's how Harmony Bailey likes to describe herself—and anyone who knows her would probably agree.

Long before she knew what journalism was, Harmony was asking questions. Introduced to the media industry by her father, celebrity photographer Hiltron Bailey, she picked up a microphone at just five years old and quickly discovered a love for storytelling. What started as childhood curiosity has grown into a career that has allowed her to interview hundreds of athletes, entertainers, and public figures while building meaningful connections through conversation.

An honors graduate of Howard University with a degree in Media, Journalism, and Film and a minor in Sports Administration, Harmony has built a diverse portfolio across sports, entertainment, and digital media. Through experiences and collaborations with the Oklahoma City Thunder, CBS Sports, HBCU GO, Howard University Athletics, Jordan Brand, The SpringHill Company, Blue Ox Films, the Washington Spirit, and Watch The Yard, she has developed hands-on experience in reporting, hosting, producing, photography, videography, editing, social media strategy, content creation, and digital storytelling.

Along the way, Harmony has been featured on ESPN's First Take HBCU Tour, co-hosted the NBA x HBCU League Pass Stream, and was selected as an AT&T Rising Future Maker and an inaugural Jim Trotter Scholarship recipient. Whether she's reporting from the sidelines, hosting in front of a crowd, producing behind the scenes, or creating content for digital platforms, she brings the same energy and genuine curiosity to every story she tells.

For Harmony, the best part about covering sports is discovering the stories at the center of every person. Sports are one of the most unifying forces in the world, bringing together communities, cultures, and generations through shared moments. Her goal is to create work that informs, inspires, and helps audiences truly connect with the people behind the game.
